DropBox integration: Form submissions are not sent to DropBox folder

Asked by greatparksofhamiltoncounty on January 17, 2017 at 08:47 AM

hi! I had form integration with Dropbox. It was working, and I think because I kept tinkering with it it's not working anymore. I have removed integration from two of my forms then relinked them. I've even removed permission from Dropbox but still nothing. Is there something else that I can do to get it to work again?

I have tried integrating DropBox integration with my free testing account and was able to see that the integration not working. Let me test it further and get back to you with relevant information.

    Thank you for your patience.

I created a form (with basic fields in it) on my free account and integrated it with my Dropbox account.

And it seems to have worked and submissions went through my Dropbox account on my first and succeeding submissions.

I also tried to integrate a clone version of the form you indicated above and everything works just like my test form above.

When you removed the integration from the other forms and performed reintegration, did it worked? Also, can you try to create a new form and try to integrate it to your Dropbox account and let us know if that works or not. Another test (if possible) would be using another Dropbox account.

I will follow-up with my colleague, Kiran, to see if he finds anything in relation to your concern.

I am not sure at what point this folder resolved itself but I saw it synced to Dropbox. Although a similar form of the same type did not work in Dropbox. I ended up deleting this. I did create a clone form as suggested, and tried the integration again. It worked! It however did not take to my changing the name of the form since it kept the same folder name in Dropbox. I then created another clone form, changed everything about the form that I needed to change, and then did the integration steps again. It is now currently working for Dropbox and Google Drive. Thanks so much for your help.
