It's in the Additional Gateway Settings. Here's an image showing the pending payment email option:
If you have already configured the payment integration, click the wizard and click the settings icon on top-left area to see gateway settings, see image:
You can choose to send the notifiers only or the notifiers and autoresponder emails.
Please note that not all payment gateway has this option.
