Pre-populate Xverfiy Email Verification Widget via query string

I have been trying to prepopulate the Xverfiy widget with a query string value.  However I have been unsuccessful.

Would I be correct in thinking that this widget cannot be prepopulated via a query string parameter?

Unfortunately, it's not possible an xverify widget email field. Not even running a condition to copy a field would be possible. So on this one, the only method is to enter the email address manually.
