Of what use is the Event ID?

    What do Jotform users usually use the event ID for? How does it help with pulling reports and what not?

    Can you please clarify what you mean by Event ID?

    Did you mean a submission ID? Or something else?

    Hello -

    I believe my form Auto-populated with an Event ID field...but perhaps that was just a carry-over from the template I was using.

    Regardless, what do people use the Event ID field for? Do you have access to my form so you can see what I am referring to? What is additionally weird is that when submitted the form, the auto email lists the Event ID as 118 which is a different number than what is the number when in the form 116.

    Is there a number where I can call Jotform to speak with someone about my other questions and problems I am having with my form? I did enroll on a paid subscription and so the support would be appreciated.

    I have checked your form, and I see that the Event ID field is a Unique ID widget - the person that created it wanted to have a unique ID string associated to each of their submissions.

    In case you have no need for this field on your form, you can simply delete it:
