A small issue with the "Form Fill" function when previewing a form

Asked by OVUForms on February 28, 2017 at 12:48 PM

I wanted to throw this one to you real quick because I am hoping it will be an easy fix...

When I test my forms using the "Form Fill" option in preview mode, I run into a small hiccup... Almost all of my forms require the user to include their phone number. My phone number field is set up--as I'm sure many others are--to require 10 digits to be considered properly filled in (area code + 7 digit phone number).

For some reason however, the "Form Fill" does not put in 10 digits... so my form is filled out like this:

    (123) 456-789_ - which means it gets an error message if I try to submit for testing purposes.

Can you guys change that final blank to "0" please and/or start over at 1 if a form needs more than 9 digits filled in?

    Thanks!

There are junk fill addon's for both Chrome and FireFox that work quite well.  I use those when testing instead of the built in autofill function.

This is the specific one I use in Google Chrome but there are several others out there:
