I need to add multiple values up a the same time on a form. what is the best way to go about this?

In my form I am working on I have it currently configured to add up the total monetary value of each item but I also would like to have totals for "number of beads" and "number of bars"

    Thank you for your help!

    Melanie

You can't achieve that with the payment tools.

You can only achieve this when you use regular checkboxes as the product field.

Then perform calculation on the field by following this guide http://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form. You can use multiple calculation widgets to get the total in each product category.

If you want to pass the total calculation field to the payment field after, follow this guide http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

    thank you Elton,

By using check boxes thought can't you only check each box once? what if a boxes value needed to be added up 3 times?  (like if there were 3 letter As that needed to be counted)

If you want to select that product 3 times, you simply need to setup a quantity option: https://www.jotform.com/help/225-How-to-Add-Options-to-Payment-Forms

I checked your form, and it looks like you have set it up in your payment field already:
