Can I send push notifications as a reminder to submit a form?

Hi, we use JotForm internally when construction work has been completed, and it is an uphill battle to get the guys onsite to remember to fill in the details before they leave site (while information is fresh in their mind). We don't add forms to our website or anything, we just use the app to fill in forms and send information back to the office.

Is there a way to set push notifications to pop up on their devices at certain dates/times when I know they will be finishing a job? If not, is there perhaps an add-on app that I can integrate to be able to create this?

We don't have this feature, but maybe you can utilize the following method:

1. Create a form. Make sure to add the email field.

2. Create an autoresponder email in the form, point the email field in the form as the recipient.

 

Now, if you would like to send a notification to your workers onsite, simply submit the form with their email address. Assuming that you have instructed them to configure their email on their mobile phones, they should receive your autoresponder email alerting them to submit a form.

I’m not sure I completely understand. We use 1 form that they fill in with different information each time. By the sounds of what you’re explaining below I would need to create a different form for every single job, and I wouldn’t be able to have the email reminder sent to them at a chosen date/time?
This doesn’t sound like it will work at all.

You only need one form to perform the steps suggested by my colleague. When you fill out the email field on your form, it will send an Autoresponder Email to your workers on-site that will remind them to submit your form. You will do this manually. However, if you do not want to do this manually, you can use an email newsletter.

You can also send them a reminder at a chosen time, using the Autoresponder Email. Please see the image below:
