How can i disable the "Enter" button from submitting the formAsked by WCMS on March 20, 2017 at 05:14 PM
I am getting problems with the form that every time my client enters the enter button it automatically submits a jot. now is there anything I can do to disable that. I cant make everything mandatory as its a complex form. If someone could get back to me quickly time is of the essence.
Unfortunately it is not possible to disable the Enter button, by default, the Enter button activates the Submit. To move among form fields must be made with the Tab button on the keyboard.
As an alternative, you may add a CAPTCHA to your form. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/205-How-to-Add-a-CAPTCHA-field.
It should be possible to do this via your jotform's source code. Here's a workaround provided by one of our supporters on this thread: How-to-stop-form-submitting-when-enter-is-pressed
I hope this information helps.
