Why does the stripe option require reentering bank data

We are working on a form for Irish Experience. The payments will go to a third party with a Stripe account. Your Stripe tool requires the third party to reenter all the banking information that Stripe already captured when they signed up for Stripe.

The third party will not provide (for good reason) all his banking information that you are requesting again. Isn't there some code service that would let us connect to the third party's Stripe account? Am I missing it?

We already went through a PayPal disaster because PayPal hides the credit card payment option.

    Thanks

    Paul

Hello Paul, I failed to understand what you meant by re-capturing bank details. Our Integration with Stripe doesn't require any bank details per se, all it requires from you is to connect your Stripe Account with JotForm.

So, the 3rd party you're mentioning, with the Stripe Account, won't need to share any info. They just need to login to their Stripe Account from within JotForm's Integration Wizard.

In case we misunderstood your question, just get back to us with a bit more info and a clearer description of what you're trying to do so we can better assist you.

Thanks for your response. You have the basic gist of it. Okay, when I go into live mode and click Connect with Stripe, it pops a new window asking me to log into Stripe. When I do I am presented with the Stripe form to create a Stripe account. All this has all been done already. I can't get past this. I don't get to any integration wizard.

From the screenshot you sent us, it seems like you're already logged in to a Stripe Account.

Please don't create another Stripe Account. Your goal with the integration is to login to an existing Stripe Account that you wish to integrate with your form.

To give you an idea, here's how the process would look like:

I would recommend you try this again, but before you proceed:

    1. EITHER log out of Stripe first by going to this page https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard > AVATAR > SIGN OUT

    2. OR, clear your browser's cache and cookies first then redo the integration

This would ensure that you're not logged in to Stripe prior to connecting it with your form. As soon as you see CONNECTED, you're all set.

    Hello Jim

I've logged out of Stripe. I've cleared cache. I've removed the products that I had initially created in PayPal. I have followed your instructions and when I click on the blue stripe Sign in with Stripe to Connect and log in, just like your example, I do not connect I get the full sign in screen as I've pasted in here again. No different. Are they missing a setting in Stripe?

    Thanks

Hey Paul, thanks for trying my suggestions. Now that we've ruled out any browser-related causes, the reason why you're not getting the same screen as I am was because you haven't fully authorized access to your Stripe Account yet.

Please proceed with filling out the information being asked by Stripe in order to authorize access to your account.

Worry not as you only have to do this process once so after authorizing it and you're still presented with the same page, don't hesitate to get back to us.

Hey Jim. Thanks. That was it. The 3rd party DID NOT complete the process. I found a tiny link to the affect, "Saved, but not yet submitted". I informed the client and all is good. Thanks. Wiping sweat from brow. Hope that's it.
