How to add a custom amount for a donation

We have a form here:  http://www.dvscp.org/donate/

We would like as one of the options under where it says "Options" - "Donation (click for options)" to have a custom option where the user can enter their own donation amount.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Andy

The only way which you can set a custom field for your donation is by setting your options in a regular radio button field and with the use of a calculation widget.

This means that for your choices, you will need to make use of a regular radio button field (single choice field) or a checkbox field and then assign amount for each option, and add a calculation widget which then it will pick up the corresponding amount for the choice selected and this will pass the value to your payment field having a user defined amount.

For you to be able to better understand how it shall work, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-Pass-a-Calculation-to-a-Payment-Field

If you have questions or if you need clarification on this, please let us know.

    Thanks.

Thought of creating a sample form instead, feel free to clone and use this form or we can make your current form run like this: https://form.jotformpro.com/71174486448970

Feel free to let us know if you have questions :)

If you could customize my current form to work like your sample form, that'd be great.  I'd take out all of the predefined options (click for options) and just have the ability to enter your own amount like you have on your sample form.

    Thanks,

    Andy

If the form my colleague created is how you'd like it, you can clone it to your own account:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

We don't usually make changes to users forms for them so if you'd like to update your current form and have any questions about what was done in the example, let us know and we will be happy to clarify whatever you'd like.
