how do i let users of the form see the unique id on the form

how do i let users of the form see the unique id on the form as well as i do on the submission page

You can add the unique iD to the autoresponder, in the email body, click on "Form Fields" and select the unique ID field. Please see:

Unfortunately, you may not let the users see this id.

JotForm cancelled this option, because it is not practical or possible.For example, if three people load the form it shows the ids ID1,ID2,ID3. Then the second person can leave the page, now this is broke the unique ID feature's design principle. People expect the ids to be sequential.

We may explore another way to accomplish this in the future.
