How can I make sure my published form won't be autofilled with sample text?

    Even when I click the link from my published FB event, the form shows up with the sample text prefilled.

    The data isn't actually being populated in the form, it is very likely being cached in your browser from a previous autofill. 

    Clear your browsers cache/cookies and it should remove the form data.  It looks like you are using Google Chrome, here is how to do so in Chrome:
