Does payment through Jotform require going through a third-party payment processor (e.g. Paypal)?

Does payment through Jotform require going through a third-party payment processor (e.g. Paypal)? Or does it just go through Jotform?

Also, how long does it take for the host of the form to receive payments? All payments would be under $30 in our system.
