    Hi there

In your new system I cannot get the condtional logic to work. Since you no longer have the section collapse options I do not understand how to create options. PLease look at my form and in the last few questions it asks how many jobs the person has had, if the person selects that they had 2 jobs I need it to only offer them two refence fields to fill in. I do not understand how to do this. PLEASE HELP!

Can you please also make videos on how to's? You dont really have that and mostly case studies. It would be so much easier if you had "how to" videos.

    Thank you

    Sheli

I have cloned your form and added the conditional logic to display the number of references based on the number of jobs the candidate has worked before. I have removed the hide then show logic you had set and only retained the show. I have however hidden all the reference fields by default and will only be displayed when condition is met.

Kindly find the form before and feel free to clone and test it.

To clone the form kindly follow instructions as shown in the guide below:

Below is additional information on how to set conditional logic of in your form.

You can find here some of our "how to" videos.

    Hi there

thank you for your response. I closed your form to look to see what you did but cannot see it. What do you mean by "I have however hidden all the reference fields by default and will only be displayed when condition is met." I cannot find what you have done. Pls can you illustrate this for me.

My big problem now is https://www.jotform.com/build/72553692176565 this form.

For question 11 when you select more than one job option is does not work.

e.g. 1 If you say you want to be an au pair and house sitter you should get asked 2 questions afterwards:

    1. why be good in childcare

    2. why be good caring for pets

e.g. 2 If you say you want to be an baby sitter and house sitter you should get asked 2 questions afterwards:

    1. why be good in childcare

    2. why be good caring for pets

I have lots of these options for question 11 and none work. Please help me. I am literally about to stop using jotforms, so if you can help me with how to work this I will stay. I am getting so frustrated.

    Thank you

    Shel

My apologies for the challenges you are facing. What I meant by "I have however hidden all the reference fields by default and will only be displayed when condition is met." Is that  I have hidden the reference fields (1-6) and only display the if the condition of how many jobs have you worked in before is met. For instance if I choose I have worked two jobs before, it will display Reference 1 and reference 2. The other four reference fields will not be displayed. See Illustration below.

To the second question, I have created some logics based on the examples you provided and it works as you had stated.

What I have done is by default I have hidden all the three questions "Why would you be good at tutoring?" , "Why would you be good at caring for pets and homes?" and "Why would you be good at caring for children?". Then based on the examples you provided I set conditional statements that checked if " au pair and house sitter" has been chosen, it will show/un-hide the questions "why be good in childcare" and " why be good caring for pets" also I have setup another conditional logic that checks if " baby sitter and house sitter" have been chosen, it will show/un-hide the questions "why be good in childcare" and "why be good caring for pets".

I have disable the other conditions you had created for easier comparison/ Understanding of what I have done on the form's conditional logic statement.

Below is an illustration of what has been done to achieve the above.

Kindly do let us know if the information was helpful and if you need further assistance on the same.
