it says my password or username is incorrect however I can log in via safari and I can see my username is correct and have also tried changing my password which said it was changed successfully but I still cannot login using either credentials..

I just tested the application on my iPhone and it worked just fine. Could you please double check if the entered data is correct, maybe you mistyped username or password?
Let us know if the issue persists.
