How can I setup a booking form that reserves a slot for both a date and a time?

    Hello,

Do you have a widget where people would be able to select a time and a date to reserve a location. We are trying to create a room reservation so if a room is available from 9am - 4pm then multiple form submission can occur to fill that time with the widget able to keep track so that double bookings do not occur. I know there is a date picker widget to reserve a date but no time. Is there something like that available.

    Thanks.

Hello @macneph - You're correct, the Date Reservation Widget only allows dates and we don't have a widget that allows both. Perhaps manually displaying the available slots (e.g. combination of date and time) would work as an alternative. With this approach though, you won't be displaying a calendar or date picker on your form. What you would display are slots/options that they can choose from by displaying a combination of date and timeframe on each. This should work the same as booking a slot and prevent others from booking that slot again by limiting the selection to just 1 per item.

    Oct 2 - 9am to 4pm

    Oct 2 - 4pm to 11pm

    Oct 3 - 9am to 4pm

    Oct 3 - 4pm to 11pm

    ...and so on

All the widgets I'm listing below track user selection for each submission. This would mean that when someone picks a slot/date/item/etc it will be counted towards the submission and the widget counter will reduce by 1. Feel free to check them out and pick one that will suit your needs. The key point is to limit the selection to just 1 to avoid double booking.
