How to set minimum & maximum range in the number field

Thank you for bringing in such a great widget, it is extremely useful which I have already been using it a couple of times for the form I built. Just one question with regards the setting up of the number field though... is there any possibility restriciting the input number to fall with certain range? (E.g. accept positive numbers only)

    Any advice is hugely appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance.

    Regards,

    Glovian

We appreciate your nice feedback about the Configurable List widget.

Regarding your question about restricting the input number to accept positive numbers only, unfortunately, this feature is not available. However, using the regular Number field it is possible.

If you have other questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you Chriistian, it is at least good to know that the functionality is not there at the moment, so I don't need to blindly searching for a way to do it. However, due to the nature of the survey I created, configuration list is the widget I needed and hence hope this restrict input function will eventually be available.

Thanks again and great job bringing in such a great tool and service.

    Regards,

    Glovian

I am creating a feature request ticket and forwarding it to our backend team. Though we cannot provide an ETA on this solution but we will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

Please note that this option is already available in configurable list widget. You can set min and max value for the number field along with the stepping up values. Please check the following syntax for number field:

    Number 1: number : Hint Text : 0.25, 0, 10

Where 0.25 is the stepping value.

0 - is the minimum value.

10 - is the maximum value.

Please take a look at the following demo form and see if this is what you wanted to achieve:  https://form.jotform.com/72780859154972

Feel free to clone this form for a closer look. The following guide should help you in form cloning:  https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

    That is wonderful Ashwin,

What you have given is much better than the feature requested ticket, sorry for overlooking this in the first place.

    Thanks a million.

    Glovian

    Hello Ashwin,

Thanks for the reply. I gave it a try testing after setting the limit between 0 and 1000 but was still able to input extremely huge number like 999999999. While this is the case, I'm happy enough for now being able to restrict inputs of negative numbers.

Hope this feedback helps and can't thank you guys more for the great work.

    Regards,

    Glovian
