My form is calculating, but the field is totally editable...

    i followed this thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/1039928-Making-the-calculation-widget-read-only-mode

but I cant activate the tick box to make read-only mode...

I had a look at this thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/565394-Locking-fields-making-them-read-only

and the only thing i can think of - is the radio button fields it is trying to calculate are set unselected by default- there is no default field selected

i can tick the other boxes - but i cant put a tick in the readonly box

I'm sorry for the trouble caused to you.

I did check form calculation widget and I am able to replicate the issue you are having. It seems the checkbox for "Result field is read only" of form calculation widget is disabled. I am reporting it to our backend team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

    thanks.

    *** edit ***

    tested my theory from above,

radio button - default settings had no impact on being able to set form calculator to read only.

I have temporarily resolved this issue by adding an IF condition to disabled it

the 'todays date'  field is hidden by default therefore calculation field is disabled and the content is non-editable...

The 'Form calculation' still does its job
