How can I decrypt submissions in Excel?

I downloaded my "key" and it said it was successful in decrypting the data; however, I cannot export the data to Excel properly as it is still encrypted when exported.

Please help as I need this data in Excel format to report to my superiors.

    Thank you,

    Lisana

Hello Lisana - You won't be able to decrypt your submission data elsewhere EXCEPT through these sources:

    1. Submissions Page

    2. Email Notifications

Anywhere else, your data will always be encrypted, including all exports, downloads, reports, etc. It was designed this way to maximize security. We mentioned this on our detailed guide about Form Encryption.

    IMPORTANT:

Some of the features that are not available for Encrypted Forms are:

    1. PDF Downloads.

    2. Reports (this includes downloading Excel and CSV files from within the Submissions Page).

    3. Emails: Email Notifications and Autoresponder (usually emailed to the form submitters).

All server side gathered and processed data, can not be retrieved in encrypted forms because your private key is never sent to our servers.
