IP is the short form of internet protocol. An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. An IP address serves two principal functions: host or network interface identification and location addressing.
You may like to take a look at the following wikipedia for more information on IP: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address
Every device will have a different IP address but if they are connected to internet though a router, the internet will be shared across all the devices. In this case, the public IP address of all device will be same.
Hope this helps.
