Continuous support of the Version 3 Form Builder

Reading the above, I cannot see any compelling reason for upgrading to v4; and a number of users seem to have encountered issues, so as a satisfied user of v3 I propose to stick with it, at least for now. I hope you will continue to support it, expecially for those whose forms are primarily designed for computer rather than mobile entry. Let me know if you think I am misguided, but I'd be interested to know what other users think.

Version 3 is no longer supported. And version 4 is currently the legacy layout. Because we are implementing a brand new layout.

Not sure I understand. Do you mean that even if I do upgrade to v4 I will be out of date, soon if not now ? I'm not too worried about the editor layout (if that's what you mean) - one can get used to that - but more the loss/change of functionality some users seem to have experience transitioning from 3 to 4. Do you expect backward-incompatible changes of functionality between v4 and v5 ?

Yes, if you are still in version 3, there is a big chance that you will be forced to use the version 4 builder.

As far as I know, we did not remove any single function in the form builder. All options/features in version 3 do exists in the version 4, and there's no backward compatibility.

If you can list down the issues you encountered in version 4, we'll be happy to assist and help you fix settings.

Thanks, Welvin. Now your developer colleague has fixed the language button issue, the pressure is off but I'll have a go with v4 in the New Year and let you know if any issues

    Meanwhile have  a great holiday
