How can I set the file upload fields as required

    Hi

I have previously had this issue and even after several attempts to resolve it, including redoing all the conditions of my form more than once, the problem persists. I have required fields on my form for file uploads that users are able to completely bypass on submission. Based on the conditions that I have set up already there is no reason why they should be able to make a submission without uploading the required files. It is important that ALL of the required fields on my form actually be required because when users do not complete the form it creates a lot of unnecessary and costly work.

Today I noticed that when I previewed the form only elements of the form that were not file uploads would be highlighted as incomplete required fields when I tried to submit a blank form (see screenshot).

Please help me to resolve this as I will need to find an alternative platform to host my form if JotForm cannot guarantee that my form's required fields will function properly.

Hello Luke - I gave this a try but failed to reproduce what you're describing. Below is a FILE UPLOAD field that was set as a REQUIRED field. Clicking the SUBMIT button without uploading any fields show the error as intended.

I had a look at this form https://www.jotform.com/72124000654543 and noticed that your FILE UPLOAD fields aren't required though. Please right click on each of them then select REQUIRED (do this on all file upload fields that you want to be required).
