How to force the form submitters to select an option on dropdown

Hello,

How do I make sure that no one can actually pick " -- Please Select -- " as a option on the dropdown.

I just want them to know they have to select an option.

Even though the "-- Please Select --" is an option within dropdown field, form submitters cannot select it as an option and submit the form if the dropdown field is required.

That's strange cause we got an enquiry with " Please Select "

In that Dropdown, -- Please Select -- is one of the options, instead of being the text for the empty option:

The empty option is blank.  The First and default option is -- Please Select --.  Use the show text in empty option and update that text to -- Please Select --.  Then remove -- Please Select -- as one of the options in the list.
