Shrink fields: Questions side by side

Hello,

Is it possible to put questions side by side instead of having to put them under each other, this in turn would save form space?

My example would me a text field for First Name and text field for Surname.

First Name [                ]    Surname [                  ]

Yes its possible to shrink the fields. So that more than one field will share the same line.
