Populating text fields on submission.

Is there a setting to apply that will include the 'text' fields within the form on the submission?

To my understanding, you would like to put a note to the submissions made on your form, is that correct?

If that is the case, then you can follow the instructions in this guide — How-to-assign-a-status-to-submissions

The workaround includes a Hidden Box that will not show on the form but will show when you edit the submission from the submission page when you add the note — How-to-Edit-Submissions-Made-on-Your-Forms

If you want to receive a notification when a submission is edited, you can enable the "Send on Edit" option under Advanced Tab of the email notification in your form.
