Payment authorization with paypal

I'm considering setting up a form that would collect credit card info

I would not need to charge the card right away.

Is payment authorizaiton the best way to go?

I was ready with pay pal, if I get a payment authorization, they payment would need to be input manually. What does that mean? that I would have to type the credit card number on my own for approval?

Considering that you cannot collect the credit card info using plain text fields and you have to use one of the payment tools, the payment authorization is the only option.

When the payment authorization is enabled, you will have to manually capture the payment from your PayPal account.
