How to convert a cloned form to card form layout?

When I try to clone my one form that is designed as a one-question-at-a-time form, it clones it into a regular page format form. I am trying to avoid re-designing it from scratch, am I doing something wrong?

It's possible to convert the cloned form to cards layout, you only need to go to the settings tab, form settings section and click on the show more button: 

Once there scroll a bit down until the form layout option where you need to select "Single question in one page":
