The form I created has a bunch of text field inputs, but also one option to upload a file. I'm trying to do this via the API, but can't seem to find the appropriate POST parameter. How does one upload a file via the API?

If you are looking for the POST data for the File Upload field, I suggest you try this method: How-to-Post-Submission-Data-to-Thank-You-Page.
Here's how it looks like:
If you are using PHP, please refer to this guide: Send-Submission-Data-via-Post-Method-and-Thank-You-Settings.
For other libraries via API, I suggest you check this page: https://api.jotform.com/docs/#post-submission-id.
You may identify the field IDs on that form through this URL: http://api.jotform.com/docs/#form-id-questions.
You may contact our API team at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues. Thank you.
