I have tried numerous times to enter the correct email but with no success.

May you please provide us more details about the issue you are facing?
Where are you trying to change your email address, is it on your account settings or the email notifications of your form?
If you're trying to change the recipient email address of your form you need to delete the current one and enter the new one.
