Hi there guys, you lovely genuises!

As requested in this post: https://eu.jotform.com/answers/1210816-Autoresponder-Email-Allow-to-choose-a-date-field-to-be-used-in-Send-Emails-Later-option

...I'm interested in being able to send an autoresponder email a fixed time in the future - most likely 18 months.

The latest response to the above thread was this:

"I see that this might be a useful feature and we already have a scheduled email alert in the autoresponder, it just doesn't have the option to set a dynamic date based on the date field in your form. I'll forward this to our developers as a feature request, but I cannot guarantee that this will be implemented. We will update you on this thread if we hear any news."

Is there any update on this please? Or can you perhaps think of another way around this problem?

    Many thanks

    James

Unfortunately the maximum delay is 30 days.

However, you can specify a later date using the calendar.

I realize you would like the delay to be fixed and based on the current date.

So, we can submit a feature request to the development team? The more requests that come in for a feature the greater the chance of the developers taking action.

I will raise your request to our developers. Please note that we cannot provide you the exact time when and if this will be implemented. If there is any update we will inform you via this thread.

I think it's already possible using hidden calculated date fields. Am I right? Will this work? See this screencast!! https://cl.ly/29201F2a3t0B

    Thanks

It seems that the option to send an email based on a date entered in Date Picker field was recently added (maybe today). This option was not available 3 days ago when I raised your request to our developers.

Most likely, our developers are still testing this feature and because of that, they did not inform us on this thread that it has been implemented.

The way you set the Autoresponder Email the email should be sent 60 days after the submission date.

Considering that it is possible that our developers are still testing this feature, I would suggest you to test it as well. Instead of +60 days set the futuredate to +1.

I will also test it with +1 condition.

I already tested this feature with the date field that is set to show the current date and I received an Autoresponder Email, so this feature seems to work properly.

Wonderful! I'll test it and let you know how things go :-)

Yes, we have implemented this feature recently. Once you add a date field to your form, you can select date field on autoresponder setting.

Thus, the autoresponder email will be sent on the date selected by your user.
