How to change the Payment field to Purchase Order field

I had to change my form from Paypal as the payment processor to "Purchase Order" and now the "Free" has reappeared.  Any suggestions?  

Just delete the current payment field and replace it with another.

Once the new payment field is added, all settings for items/products will be retained.
