The GPS Location Widget works in your form.
When you go to your Google Dev's page to create an API Key, make sure the 3 options are selected. These are essential in order for the widgets to work properly.

I created a new api with the options selected. On my form, it still is not 'capturing' the location. It simply shows up on the map.

Hello,
I have also tested your form and was not able to get any error on it. I have checked submissions and could see that Detected Location field is not marked to be shown there:
I can also assume that you might need to change the Output Type to Address if you want to receive this data with form submissions:
If you did mean any other issue with GPS Location Widget, please let us know.
Thank you.
