    Hi,

I am tying to create a pdf that i send to the user once they have filled in the form. The fields however should be able to change based on their responses. I have added conditional logic onto the questions already and it shows up in the text fields that i have implemented. But when they submit how do i get a pdf to be sent to them with only the fields that are showing up based on their answers.

    Best wishes

    Hello,

The unfilled fields will not be included on the PDF file if you mark the corresponding setting on Submissions page:

I can see that this is already set up on your form. Please test it and let us know if you need any further help.

    Thank you.

    Hi Victoria_K,

I have set up two pages on my form, the first one is to collect information and then the second page is populated based on the answers that is given in the first page.

I would like to send only the second page as a pdf to the respondent. Can you help me do this?

    Best wishes

    Hello,

On the submissions page you can mark which questions should be shown. This will take effect on the PDF files too and I would suggest to mark only the fields of your page 2. Please check the screenshot:

The problem is the PDF has no conditional logic so for instance one of my questions on page one has a yes or no answer. If Yes then a certain text block on page two appears, if no is clicked then a different block on page two appears. On the PDF i want only the block that appears on page two based on the logic of the form not both blocks.

    Is this possible?

Yes, you can do so. Go to PDF report and uncheck all the fields from the First Page. That should display information from the second page only even though it depends on the answers given on the first page.

When I checked your form, the second page only has a Text field that displays certain field values from the first page. You only need enable to checkboxes in the PDF report and that should do the trick. When a PDF created and when the PDF attachment is sent through Autoresponder it will only send the PDF copy with the 2nd page i.e. Motivation Form.

    Here is the screenshot -

I had cloned your form to demonstrate how it looks. Please see the yellow marked fields on the PDF report which are coming from the first page whereas the all the fields from the first page are disabled on the PDF report. The same copy will be emailed through the autoresponder.

I hope this is clear. Let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you, however my issue was that some text blocks like the last two included on page 2 which starts 'The use of fidaxomicin is supported' are conditional. But both appear in the PDF which gets sent to the respondent. I would like only the one based on the conditions to appear in the PDF that gets sent to the user.

Unfortunately it is currently not possible to show text fields conditionally in the submission PDF. If you enable "Show Header & Text" in form's submission page, it will display all the text field you have added in form.
