    Bonjour,

The "bubble" which appears when the cursor is on the "pencil" icon to edit a text element from the designer is in ... arabic - see top right corner of screen capture below :

It sould read "Modifier" (to modify or change).

I'll try to point out the many other translation errors as I bump into them ...  It takes a lot longer than having a cross-reference table to review.

    Bonne journée.

Unfortunately, I was not able to find the form in your account as it has more than 80+ forms. Could you please share the form URL so that we could inspect?

Let us know the details which would help us to track.

    Thanks.

    Bonjour,

It is NOT form specific.  It is part of your UI when in French.  Log in with the French mode, create a form, add a text block element and then move cursor to the "pencil" icon at upper right corner of the element when in the designer.

Not certain how it shows up when in the UI in English.  I use it only when the translation is really really bad and I can't guess what it should be in French.

    Bonne journée,

Our apologies and thanks for the clarification.

I now changed the translation to Éditer le texte in French language of Edit Text (based on Google Translate). The update isn't instant because we use a scheduler to update translation by batches so please allow 24 hours for it to take effect.

    Regards

    Perfect !

I'll bumped into it within the next 24 hours or so then.

Is there some sort of language cross-reference translation file at your end for each language ? Maybe someone could go through at least the one for French to see where the translations are missing (defaults to English ?) or obviously incorrect (like the wrong language) ...

Well, if you want I could go over the French one rather than randomly bumping into the translation errors.  I would probably need the English (default) file for reference.

It might be time to give the translation tables a once over.  Three years is a long time...  Not that I would open the validation process to all users, nor might I be the best choice.

I work for a French language school board in Ontario, Canada.  I'm also born in France - tending to use French-French more than Canadian/Ontarian-French. ;))

If I don't know / if I'm uncertain, I'll say it rather than make something up or ignore the situation.  Afterall, learning is a life long process.

If you want, we can add a feature request, to accept again translations from users.

As what my colleague has said, currently we are not accepting contributors.

I'm not really looking for extra work, but it might be quicker to spend a few hours going through the file rather than doing hit and miss over time, reporting translation problems one by one.

I'll leave it up to you as I don't see it as a wide open invite to all users to review the translation. We see what it results in from the current (French) translation ...

I'm not sure I understood your question correctly.

Do you want to have the full source code if the English translation UI?

May we know what other words/UI needs to be translated correctly in French?

    Thank you.
