Help on setting up tax rate based on locations.

Hello,

I really appreciate the step by step help your company provides. Unfortunately this still doesn't seem to be adding tax to our form. I'm in the process of upgrading the account and we would like to release to our Clients tomorrow, but I need to make sure we have tax added for the appropriate purchases otherwise our accountant will be very unhappy with me.

I have tax set for both NC and VA. The test purchases were made from NC with the billing addresses the same, so the tax should have linked on just like the shipping, but it didn't. Can you please let me know how we might overcome this issue?

Are you referring to this form? 

I just tested the form, and you need to remove the Base Tax Rate if you are using the "Set Tax Options from a Location Field" option.

I have cloned the form, and after removing the Base Tax Rate, it worked correctly, example with NC = 7.5%:

Yes this is the form. When I did/did not have the base it set the tax at
1.17 which is the VA tax %. I’ll try what you did and hopefully have better
results this time. Thank you!
