how to change submission date after the submission is editted

My organization collects an annual report from 70 sites, and this year we sent them their Edit Submission link from last year so that they could simply edit responses rather than starting from scratch. However, the Submission Date isn't changing when they submit their edits, so I cannot distinguish the updated submissions from the old ones in Jotform.

I have been working around this by exporting all of the data and sorting it to see which submissions included the required questions we added this year. Is there any other way to see which submissions have been edited?

I have made a test in order to see if the date changes after the submission is edited but unfortunately, it doesn't change.

You may consider to search the edited submissions by EDIT keyword in your inbox since the title of notification email is changed as EDIT: Notification Email Title.

In order to prevent this issue from now on, you may use extra date field that is set to show the current date:

Please note that date picker that shows current time should be changed accordingly by the form submitter while editing the submission.

    I hope this helps.
