Appointment widget for 2 different days

I am trying to figure out how to set my form to do the following.  We want staff to  choose between 2 different dates for their appointment and there are varying time slots on each date.  If they choose a slot on one date they can not choose a slot on another date.  The times vary on the 2 different dates.  I am using the appointment widget and have placed 2 widgets on the page but can't figure out how to 1) make sure that they choose one of the dates/time slot and 2) make sure that they can only choose one of the dates/time slots.  I tried to use conditional settings but that didn't work or I set it incorrectly.

How about adding a field to ask the user which date they will pick? So, you can create two conditions to show one of the widgets according to the selection: https://form.jotform.com/83468377305970

You may clone it to inspect it: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL

Let us know if that help.

I have got my form working just fine thanks to you.  I noticed an issue however with the confirmation email.  If a person decides to edit their submission and chooses a different date and time, the confirmation email comes back with both the dates and times they have chosen.  However, if the person edits their confirmation and keeps the same date but changes the time then everything is ok.

Do you know how I can get around that issue?

    You are welcome. :-)

In regards to the issue you found, I think that it could be prevented by establishing the following option:

Please select "Clear on being hidden", so this would leave one, and clear the other.

That worked.  Thanks so much.  I am not quite sure what it means though 'clear on being hidden'.

If you put a data on a field and the condition hides the field, it will clear the field or it will remove the data.

I hope this information helps. Contact us again if you need assistance.
