Zip code not required for address fields

I noticed that there were some other threads from this year of people asking the same thing but with no answers as of yet. We have address fields that are required and for some reason the zip code isn't being required while the rest of the fields are. 

Can you look into this for us, we do need the zip code field required on all our forms. 

I tested this on my end and was able to reproduce the issue.  It does indeed look like the zip code portion of the address field is not required even though the field is set to required.  I will forward this to our development team to have a look.  We will let you know as soon as we have any updates. 

In the mean time, using separate short text entry fields for each portion of the address would allow for requiring each field.

Zip Code is required only if you select "American States" options in Address Field settings. Here is the screenshot:

You can use "Multiple Text Fields" widget for your purpose. All you need is selecting "required" from field settings. You can see the example screenshot below:
