    Hello!

I am setting up a registration page and would like to have our registrants pay online.

I am just wondering what happens to the credit card information once it is entered into your form?

    Please let me know,

    Thanks!

According to our Terms of Use, it is not allowed to collect sensitive information with plain text fields.

PhishingYou agree that JotForm, Inc. may terminate your JotForm Service immediately if a form's purpose is found to be deceptively obtaining, for example: sensitive credit card information, social security numbers, user login credentials, or other sensitive personal information. All these activities are considered as Phishing and any account along with the violating forms will be suspended immediately.

But, you can use one of our Payment Processors to process payments on your form. In this case, credit card information is not forwarded to our servers, but used by payment processor of your choice to process a payment. If all you need is some sort of Payment Authorization (e.g. charge your users at a later date), then your choices would be limited to PaypalAuthorize.netSquare and Stripe.

In case you're not sure which one will work for you, I recommend you briefly read this post on Which-Payment-Processor-is-Right-for-Your-Business

We will gladly assist if you need more help.
