There should not be any issues with viewing encrypted forms when you have the key uploaded.  Try browsing in private/incognito mode, it should require uploading the key again.  Once uploaded, the encryption should be removed.

We had to re-download a key and can see all new submissions.
Is there any way for you an encrypted response from one of our forms that we cannot view?
We have the original key tied to that form/submission but it won’t work… however a client filled it out and since its encrypted, there is no way to see which client filled it out.

There is no workaround to this.

You will have to use the original key to view the form submissions for that encrypted form. Unfortunately if you have lose the key, there is no other means to remove the encryption for that form submissions.

… however a client filled it out and since its encrypted, there is no way to see which client filled it out.

What you can do is to disable/remove the form encryption so that you can properly view all the new incoming submissions.

If you want to enable encryption again, you can enable it on the form. But you will have to  generate/download a new private key again. The encryption will take effect again on new incoming submissions.

Did you create a new key? You've mentioned that you have downloaded the key and was able to view new submission? Sounds like you have generated a new key.

Please note that new keys will not decrypt the old data.

    So weird scenario
We have 4 encrypted forms (lets call them form a,b,c and d). Each with their own key
Yesterday at around noon – I couldn’t view any of the new responses.
Form D didn’t have any responses yet, so I created a new key and then could view new responses on form D. What is weird, is that with that same key…. I could now few new responses (but not old) on all other forms – A , B and C… I DID NOT reset the key for any of these forms.
Is there only allowed 1 encrypted form key per account?
    Best,

Keys are one per account.  There is a longer rundown in Q12 of the following guide:

    Ah I see now.
It made it seem like it was one key per encrypted form, but now I understand
    Thank you!!
