Image Checkbox: change selection without deselecting the current option

Hi there,

I got some feedback from clients about the images checkboxes widget. The widget is great BUT there is something really painful. When you have selected an option, if you changed your mind, you cannot just click on another choice. You have to deselect the previous choice for choosing the new one. It is quite boring on a cellphone especially for prepopulated forms. 
Any clue how to be able to change it easily ?

I have checked your form and you have set the widget to allow a single selection only.

With this setup, you need to deselect a selection before you can move to a new option.

You may try increasing the number of selection and let us know if this fits your requirements.

thanks ! Actually this is not what I meant. In this configuration of Max Selection 1, is there a way for people not to have to deselect before you can move to a new option ? (this is very frustrating when on mobile phone and have to scrool when a lot of options)

Thank you for the clarification. Currently, there is no option to change this configuration.

You would need to deselect your current selection before you could choose another option in the Image Checkbox widget.

I have forwarded a feature request to our developers to make the Image Checkbox widget select an option without the need to deselect it first.

Do note that we cannot give an ETA when this feature would be added or will it be passed. However, we will keep you posted via this thread for news/updates regarding your feature request.

Until your request will be reviewed you can try to use Image Radio Buttons Widget. It is a similar widget with almost the same design that allows the user to switch between options without deselecting the previous one.
