How do I encrypt my form submissions?

Hi, 

I tried doing encryption for the forms, but i receive a public key which is an unrecognized format. Also, when i do testing on the submissions and export the excel out, i see weird symbols instead of normal text. Please help. 

I am using free version. 

Unfortunately, some of our functionalities are not compatible with encrypted forms such as reports and PDF documents. Excel is a type of report that's why your form appears encrypted in your end. Also, note that when you disable encryption your old files will not be decrypted. You can learn about encryption in this guide.
