Sheets View: Filtering by Date Picker values not intiitive

Hello,

I have a date field on one of my forms and I am looking to filter submissions by a particular date or range of dates in that field.  When I select the filter for that field and enter any date it does not find the form with that entry.  Is this or can this be possible? 

This might be caused by different date formats. Please try a mm/dd/yyyy format.
