How can I avail the nonprofit discount?

I am a faculty member at East Tennessee State University and have been using the starter plan. I would like to upgrade to the Bronze Plan and get the nonprofit discount. Is this possible? I would be using it just form my individual teaching/research needs not university wide. When I filled out the form, it required a Form 990 to submit. As a state school, we do not do these. How should I proceed?

Although we offer a nonprofit discount and education discount (both of which are 50% off), I don't think your current goal will fit any of these requirements.

If this will be for personal use, you won't be categorized as a nonprofit organization. And if you will never use it university wide, it will never be considered as an education discount either.

If East Tennessee State University is a nonprofit university, I strongly recommend you apply for the education discount as a university. You can use the second link above for this. Otherwise, you'd need to send any proof or documentation (since you don't have a 990 form) that will validate your nonprofit status.
