HIPAA and DropBox

    Good morning Team,

    I just had our company attorney sign off on the BAA for HIPAA compliant forms. Upon our attorney signing the BAA, I received a notice stating that "dropbox integration cannot be used on HIPAA forms".

    I was told that we could use Dropbox integration with HIPAA forms, its why we decided to sign up.

    We have to have a way to move our form data to our protected server to our intake team can process the data. My marketing team doesn't have the time or capacity to manage these forms.

    Is there a different integration we could use?

    The Dropbox integartion is indeed available for HIPAA compliant forms but would require authentication after switching to HIPAA.  There is an additional step to confirm you have signed a BAA with Dropbox prior to setting up the integration which is why it is required to be disconnected before switching. 

    After you have switched to HIPAA compliant forms, it should be possible to restore the integration:
