DropBox integration, to store ONLY uploaded PDFs, NOT the form data PDF itself--or way to anonymize that PDF?

Hello, I've set up a system to use JotForm to accept uploaded PDF submissions of papers for a conference, together with information about the conference participants.

I'd want to share, via DropBox, the uploaded PDF paper submissions--but NOT the PDFs with the information collected on the forms, since that would give away identities.

I realize I can strip out the form data, but is there a setting where I can specify, in the integration, that I don't want to put in the form data, or where I can leave certain fields out of the form data, to preserve anonymity.

    Hi @djmorris!

I don't believe it is possible to integrate Dropbox in such a way that only specific fields of a form get sent to Dropbox. However, the attachments (PDFs uploaded by participants, PNGs, etc) appear as separate files in the Dropbox folder, separate from the submission data PDF:

You can simply focus on the attachments and delete the submission data PDFs.

Thanks, for the quick reply! Yes, I can focus that way. It would be nice, though, if a setting could be added to the integration, e.g., [x] Do not save form data to DropBox (push uploaded files only) [NB, I am working for two organizations, it's the same person, but the accounts are different]

Thank you for your reply as well. I understand that you would like to be able to have an option of only pushing the uploaded files to Dropbox, instead of the full form. Perhaps being able to choose which specific fields of the form are pushed as well. I will send this to our developers as a feature request.
