Credit Card Authorizations via Square

Hello, I have added Credit Card Authorizations via Square, and have a question about the "Authorization Only" feature.

It says that the authorization expires after 6 days. However, most of our customers are on a net-30 payment schedule.

Is it possible with this integration to go into Square within the 6 day window and set the customer up on their agreed-upon payment plan to charge them in 30 days?

Also, is there a way to collect ACH authorizations via Square too, or is it just credit cards? If just credit cards, is there another way to collect ACH information without breaking Jotform's TOS? I know collecting credit card authorizations outside of payment widgets aren't allowed, but couldn't find anything on ACH.

    Thank you,

    Kat

Unfortunately, we cannot set the expire time range for the authorizations. It is set to six days for default.
The Square doesn't have ACH option. It only works with credit cards. But with the Stripe payment gateway, you can collect ACH payments.

As you said, collecting credit card information outside of the payment widgets not allowed.

Thank you for your response. For your last statement, my question was:

Is collecting ACH information outside of payment widgets allowed?

Your answer mentioned credit card information but not ACH information.

If your purpose is not to collect these data from the general public, but from your own customers, then you need to comply with two things.

    1. Add the Terms & Conditions Widget (or the Short Scrollable Terms Widget) for your users to read and agree.

    2. Add a Signature Widget so your users can sign and agree to provide such sensitive information.

By adding the mandatory widgets you will be allowed to collect your customers banking information in compliance with our Terms of Use.

    Thank you.

Just to be clear, we could not collect the credit card information and charge them in 20 days 9in Square).  It has to be within 6 days?  Why is there a default expiration date?

Yes, I believe that's a limit set by Square, and we cannot change that.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!
