Jotform new app showing offline mode failure using android tablet

    Hi there! I'm testing out the mobile form to use with our field tablets, and I'm running into some issues with an assigned form in offline mode. I have enabled offline mode in the app, and have previously opened the form while connected online. When trying to access the form offline, I am receiving a web page not available error from the (internal) android browser. Offline mode seems to work on my apple device, but not our android tablets.

    Any suggestions?

    It should not be a problem when you access the offline form when you have an internet. Please try to exit or end the process of the jotform app. You can also try enabling the online form and then switch it to offline mode again.

    It seems this error is intermittent. We had a different tablet which while in offline mode and in kiosk mode, worked for the first submission, then errored out again. Seems like a bug of the offline form function

    Here's the screenshot of the error. Additionally, the jotform UI disappears entirely and requires a hard reset of the app to return to being usable.

    Hello @CanadianEMS - I've tried this on multiple android devices, but I was not able to replicate the issue you mentioned. Please make sure the form you are using in offline mode is listed in offline mode forms, please check my screenshot below for reference.

    Also, you should open the jotform mobile app without an internet connection and open form as kiosk mode.

    Looks like we are still getting sporadic load failures on some of our forms. It now shows a complete blank page, rather than webpage not available. This issue mainly appears when trying to load an offline page while offline, whereas forms started prior to leaving wifi/ data connection area load fine.

    And yes, the app is configured for offline use.

    There are times that the offline forms are not updated automatically unless you checked your form in the "Offline mode" section. I suggest you re-download the forms in the offline mode section and see if that will fix the issue.

    Please let us know if the issue persists after doing that.
