Charge for Square integration

Please let me know if JotForm will be charging any fees for Square integration.

also, when square is integrated into a form is a transaction becoming an "online order" or a "web store" transaction.

JotForm does not incur any fee when Square Integration is used in its forms.

As for your other concern, can you further explain it, please? May we know where are you expecting to see the types of transaction you mentioned?

Square has a few different types of charges for different type of transactions (see below).

Your fee will be 2.75% of the total transaction amount for any of the following payment types: Swiped Magstripe Cards Swiped or Inserted Chip Cards Contactless (NFC) Payments Prepaid Gift Cards Point-of-Sale API Swiped or Inserted Payments Swiped Virtual Terminal Payments

Keep in mind that Square Register and Square Terminal have slightly different processing fees.

Contactless payments, swiped or inserted chip cards, and swiped magstripe cards processed through Square Register have a 2.5% + 10¢fee.

Swiped magstripe cards, swiped or inserted chip cards, and contactless payments processed through Square Terminal have a 2.6% + 10¢fee.

Your fee will be 3.5% + 15¢ of the total transaction amount for any of the following payment types:

Card on File Transactions Manually Entered Card Payments Point-of-Sale API Keyed-In Payments Manually Entered Virtual Terminal Payments

The higher fee for manually entered transactions is due to a greater risk involved with these payments, as neither the payment card nor the cardholder have to be present for the payment to occur.

Just to reiterate, JotForm does not take any fees for every transaction. However, Square transaction fees may apply. The Square transaction fee might be 2.9% + 30¢  since we are talking about integration which uses Square eCommerce API.
