Is there a way to create an approval workflow with calendar integration?

I know that it is possible to create a workflow using ProcessMaker, and also to connect to a Google Calendar to automatically create an event based on the date/time picker. But I am wondering if there is a way to combine both of these features?

I am hoping to be able to use the form entry to create a calendar event only after the submitted request form has been approved. 

Please let me know if this is possible!

The only workaround I could think is to have blank date fields on initial submission and only fill them during approval. Based on my tests, blank date fields would not create calendar events since they are the main requirements for the integration.
